June Purchase (4) - Captain America Shield (Rubie's Costume) 24"

It finally arrived!!!!! I ordered a Captain America's Shield from amazon.com 10 days ago at a price of SGD43.08. This is produced by Rubie's Costume, and is only a Halloween prop, not those cosplay or proper display prop, so quality is definitely not as good as those. But still good enough for me. Yeap, have since threw away my failed home-made shield... Here's the front of the shield... The edges of the star parts are not well-defined, so look very toy-ish when view from close distance... The painting is also quite bad, with the silver paint going out in many places... Will have to touch up, when free...


Back view of the shield... can't quite figure out how come the straps are placed in such angles... anyway, might also be placing new straps for holding and perhaps even strapping onto the back... will see how it goes..


Since this is only a Halloween prop, the plastic is quite thin, so as to save cost, I supposed... Feels a bit uneasy especially at the shield edge, feels like it will tear... but it won't, having survived from the long shipping to Singapore in 1 oversized box, hahahaha...  The thin material is still not too bad , unlike some cheapo thin thin plastic masks, this thickness is still quite durable... Though it will never be THAT durable like Cattoys' plastic version of the shield (which I saw 1 clip of how a car rolls over the shield and it remains intact, hahahaha)...

June Purchase (3) - Power Rangers Megaforce Battle Sets, Glitzi Globes Starter Kit

Bought these at Bedok Mall's Kiddy Palace. The 2 sets of PR Megaforce Battle Sets costs only $13 each, which is quite worth to buy... Little nephew enjoys playing with them...



Also gotten a Glitzi Globes Starter Kit for my little niece at $19.90...

June Purchase (2) - DX Cosmic Switch ( Kamen Rider Fourze Series)

Bought a DX Cosmic Switch for my little nephew at OG today... and at a relatively cheap price of $29.95, as compared to last time's price...

DX Drive Driver - Belt Strap Replacement

With my fat waistline, I cannot wear the DX Kamen Rider drivers / henshin belts with the original plastic belt straps, so I replaced all my KR henshin belts with proper (aka longer) belt straps, normally the synthetic leather shiny surface type... Most importantly, the more flexible new belt straps allow more bending to help in hanging to display... So here's my newest belt replacement, the DX Drive Driver with a new belt strap...


The side connectors are taken apart and I had to make 3 holes on the new belt strap for fixing onto the 3 pegs inside the connectors. The belt strap then flows out from the slot nicely...


I hand-stitched the details at the other side of the belt strap to replicate the original plastic belt's detail...


Since my tummy is always in a state of fluctuation (hahahahaha), I sewn on a pair of velcro straps to allow length adjustment...


And now the DX Drive Driver can be proudly displayed on my cupboard...

June Purchase (1) - Kamen Rider OOO : Batta Candroid, Power Rangers Megaforce : Robo Morpher, DX Gosei Morpher, Barbie Paleontologist Set

Bought these at Robinsons Expo Sales today... The first 2 items for my little nephew, the 3rd for me (yes, I finally decided to abandon my unknown-language speaking DX Gosei Morpher which I bought from Taobao.com... ) and the last item is for my little niece... Prices are on the boxes/packaging...

May Purchase (3) - Mini Mini Shift Car - Type Speed

Had a plain car key that has no key tag etc, so decided to get 1 key tag for it. After many months of look-see look-see, finally saw this mini mini mini mini... shift car, which I felt is small enough to be used as a key-chain ornament... Costs approximately $6.85... SGD of course...


And after some "operation" (under extremely sleepy condition), finally modded it into a good key-chain to go with my car key!!! Nice!!! Hahahahaha....


Flipped, and "Henshin!!!!"... Hahahaha....

May Purchase (2) - Iron Man 3 Arc FX Repulsor, Captain America Flying Shield, Disney Magic Clips

Got them in various Toys R Us stores today for my little nephew and niece... The first 2 items are neither Kamen Rider nor Sentai related, but thought since they are still super-heroes, I will still put them in this blog rather than the Transformers one...

Iron Man 3 Arc FX Repulsor
Costs $16.90...SGD... Wanted to mod it to have the sound and lights to activate when wrist is flicked up, but... will see how it goes...



Captain America Flying Shield
Its an expensive Frisbee!!!! But will probably be good if their family goes to beach and play there... Costs $19.90...



Disney Magic Clips
For my little niece, the Frozen magic clips cost $17.90 each and the Snow White costs $14.90...
