Nov Purchase (3) - KR Hibiki Stuff again... and Some Others...

Gotten this stuff today at Expo's Robinsons Sales... Not much, wanted to see if got any good stuff, but still, same old stuff... So bought some for replacements and collection...

KR Todoroki's and Zanki's guitars... Figured that since it's only $8 each, might as well try my luck again to see if I can get a decent piece of the KR Todoroki's guitar... luckily, finally got 1 decent one.. and my little nephew wanted my current one... hahaha... KR Zanki's guitar is bl**dy sh*t, when I tried the electronics, only 1 LED lights up... the casing is vertually un-openable, and after prying open the lower part (and breaking the fragile tips), diagnose the wire is crushed and broken at the middle part... and soldering back with an extra wire is extremely difficult with the location so inside, and virtually no space due to the "wings" blocking...after many hours of frustrating work, finally manage to get the other LED back to light up... Got the Meitou Onsaken ($5) to replace for my little nephew's broken one..but thinking I can use the electronics to "transplant" into my PLEX Onsa Onkaku (Henshin Tuning Fork) for the Henshin sound... The "loose" KR Den-O ($8) can "transform" into the 4 modes, and is not really "loose", but my little nephew took it out of the box to play before I can remember to take a photo of it in box... and oh, the Disc Animals...

KR Hibiki Disc Animals #3 Green Ape (Ryokuozaru), #6 Orange Lion (Kiakashishi), #8 Celadon Frog (Seijigaeru), #9 Golden Wolf (KoganeĊkami)... 4 for $10...

Also bought some toys for little niece...

Nov Purchase (2) - Candy Toy KR Delta Driver, Candy Toy KR Kabuto Zecter

1 haul from Taoabao came this evening... Some fake leather belts to use for my Kamen Rider belt straps, a Makka Pakka soft toy for my little niece, and some candy toy Kamen Rider belts...

Candy Toy KR Delta Driver
Comes in 3 boxes, to complete the whole KR Delta Driver set... Not very sure how they look like, as I have not assembled yet, but the gun handle seem slightly bigger than normal candy toy KR belt parts, so good hope... Cost about $16.10...

Candy Toy KR Kabuto Zecter
I bought the one that has only 2 sounds, instead of the 3-sound-version that can be seen in Youtube clips... Still quite ok, as it has a "smash/explode" sound after the "Rider Kick" sound... Cost about $14.20...

Beetle wings can be manually opened, and the zecter also has to be opened manually to reveal the "LED lights", which i just a sticker, like the LRS version...

Hope the Kabuto Zecter returns to US seller smoothly and quickly, and he to resend me back the MISB one quickly...

Nov Purchase (1) - Candy Toys (Castle Doran, Shoodoran, Powered Ixa, Ixa Calibur, Dogga Hammer), Candy Toys Shinkenger Set, KR Fourze Driver & Legend Rider Switch Set 1

My haul these 2 days... Not bad, except the Candy Toys Shinkenger morpher, thought it can also fold like the real thing, but alas... Anyway...

Candy Toys Castle Doran
Can fire missile from the mouth!!! The set of the Kiva series candy toys cost $32...

Candy Toys Shoodoran / Powered Ixa
Little Shoodoran can "bang sai" out missiles! Hahaha... Powered Ixa does not have any outstanding features though, just 4 wheels, and manually-movable arm...

Candy Toys Ixa Calibur
Small little Ixa Calibur!!! Pity could not find the full set of Candy Toy Ixa Driver... Look at the Candy Toy's long blade, Bandai should feel ashamed of itself for not doing this to the DX version...

Size comparison with the DX version...

Candy Toys Dogga Hammer
"Dogga Hammer!!!!!!!" ... mini size! Now my little nephew can have many things to play when he executes his Kiva fuestles... Did not buy the DX for my little nephew, bought this instead, hope he likes it... Did ordered the other 2 animals DX versions though, now waiting to ship over to S'pore, hopefully... The Hammer's fingers can be snapped open by pressing a trigger, but the spring has gotten weak, might need to change if things get worse...

Candy Toys Shinkenger Set
Damn.... Morpher phone is cast as 1 piece, in pen mode, and can't transform into phone mode... sigh, should have bought the DX KR Fourze Rocket Module... This Candy Toy set cost $24...

DX KR Fourze Driver
Collected this yesterday, very nice piece!!!!! I must be quite lucky not to win an Ebay auction for a similar belt as my max bid would also be more than what I paid for this piece, as this piece cost only $75, MISB!... My little nephew should be quite happy to received this...

Legend Rider Switch Set 1
Has KR Ichigo, KR OOO, and most importantly, KR Decade (which is my little nephew's favourite!)... Cost $20... Hmmm... maybe may print out a small barcode strip to stick to the Ganbaride card so that my little newphew can use it for his Decade Driver...

Hopefully my re-transaction for the DX Kabuto belt will go smoothly... Returned the DX Kabuto belt back to US as the seller send me an opened one when the item is supposed to be MISB... He did apologies and says to ship me a new one when I return him the current one... so now wait for the package to reach US and hope he will then send me a MISB one asap... Keep my fingers crossed... Oh, also hope my Taobao haul will go smoothly, as I pre-ordered the DX Accel Driver, DX Engine Blade, and DX Trial Memory and they are supposed to arrive (in China) in Nov...

Weapon Mod - DX Ixa Calibur's Blade

Finally finished modding my DX Ixa Calibur's blade... The original blade was too short, making the Ixa Calibur look more like Ixa-Dagger...

Anyway, I used some clear thick soft plastic (think is PVC) and layered & trimmed them (with double-sided tape except for the blade's tip joined with super glue) to resemble the profile of the original blade, but longer. The inner-side of each layer is coloured with red marker, hence when pulled/pushed, the outer surface will not cause any colour damage to the blade... Below picture shows a near-complete new blade, in comparison with the original (shorter) one... Not very much extension can be done, due to the blade-holder's limitation itself... There is a black piece (blade-lock) with mechanism to "click-lock" the blade in position yet to be connected to the new blade...

The blade-holder part (aka the "magazine" for the gun-mode) also has to remove some parts to make a path for the blade to slide in further when keeping... The 2 pieces of white colour plastics are used to lift the blade-lock to correct height in correspondence to the original path... To save time, I used the last peg-peghole as the retaining wall to lock the blade-lock in place...

Done! Now the Ixa Calibur is ready to "transform" into a more decent-looking sword... Gun-mode is not affected...

Ixa Calibur and its new blade! Looks so much better... Why can't Bandai do this in the first place? Safety???... Nah....

Tried to combine the 2 pictures for a blade-length comparison...

Comparison with the DX Sword of Omen (Thundercats series)... Blade lengths are almost the same! The extra Thundercat symbol thing is the one that makes the Sword of Omen longer in overall length...Nice, now I have a decent Ixa Calibur...
