January Purchase (5) - Solaris Knight Gear set, KO Geki Saber, KO Gosei Blaster

Haul from Taobao.com arrived tonight... Am sort of collecting Sentai/Power Rangers weapons that I like, hence the buying if these stuff... Intend to hang them up for display, like the Akibarangers' room setting...

Solaris Knight Gear set
The small little morpher is so cute!!! Hahahaha... Not sure what the weapon does, as have not de-tombed it yet... Cost about $12.45...

KO Geki Saber
2nd time buying a Geki Saber, as the previous PLEX version is too tiny... This one is modeled after the other version (its review can be found on Youtube) but they combined EVERYTHING, so the it is only 1 single saber... But I intend to cut and remold it anyway... Comes with childish sword clashing sounds... Cost about $23.20, due to the extreme large packaging it came in, along with some other toys...

KO Gosei Blaster
Wow, they even KO-ed the Gosei Blaster... actually it seemed more like a hybrid of Gosei Blaster and Mega Blaster (the Megaforce version of Gosei Blaster)... Not sure how it is, as have not de-tombed it yet too... Super waste of packing space... Cost about $10.45...

January Purchase (4) - Nitro Blaster (Power Rangers RPM)

Finally it arrived!!!! Bought off eBay in November last year, and the first time when seller shipped out the item, it was either lost or returned to the eBay seller... And it seemed the seller missed out the eBay message I sent, until the 2nd time I sent him another query... Good thing is the seller is quite nice to send by registered fast post at the 2nd time, and thus I finally received this in 2014 (I repeat, I bought it in Nov 2013)... Nice... Will attempt to repaint the gun barrel parts to silver and the extendable blades to use silver stickers to "wrap" them up... Should I also make a long finger-trigger to resemble that of the gas-pump handle's? Should I also repaint to follow to a closer Mantan Gun colour scheme? Hmmm... Tried out after de-tombing... Does not seem to have any special attack sounds... Anyway, quite fun... Cost about $52.05...

January Purchase (3) - DX Geki Nunchuck

Yeah! My haul from eBay finally arrived!! Had been very disappointed by Taobao.com after some unsuccessful attempts to purchase 1, whereby the sellers always claimed out of stock after orders are placed... luckily found 1 slightly more expensive one, at SGD $32.15... But still, it is already considered to be super super cheap, for a relatively rare item (I think...) like this... Happy... Now waiting for my Nitro Blaster... sigh... Hope it arrive with no hiccups...

String has frayed a little, after some swinging from me and my little nephew... Its a bit short though... Can make it longer? Hmm...

January Purchase (2) - Gashapon Keychain Wizard Rings, DX Crystal Gunber (2nd Buy), DX Geki Changer, DX Geki Tonfa, DX Suit-Up Flying Sword Jet Caliber

Haul from taobao.com and Taiwan Yahoo shopping site... actually is collected last night...

Gashapon Keychain Wizard Rings
For my home-made Hamel Cane... Cost approximately $15.45 for 6 rings... Sigh, expensive...

DX Crystal Gunber (2nd Buy)
2nd time buying... Mainly for the sound-light circuit to be implanted into the KO Perfect Zecter... There are different (decent) sounds for sword mode and gun mode, which is nice... It's quite weird that this claims to be a Bandai product... so... nevermind... Cost approximately $21.85 for 2 pieces, loose shipping... Design is good, with proper gun and sword modes, which the blades remind me of light-sabers, hahahaha... .... Probably I will keep 1 for display...

DX Geki Changer
Gekirangers!!!!! Bought this from Taiwan Yahoo shopping site, at a very very cheap price... Approximately $19.55 only!!! Since this is too small for adults, I did not buy 1 more for myself, and also I have limited space for my display rack (to be made soon, I hope)... Will be the CNY present for my little nephew... Also bought 2 Koeda Chan dolls for my little niece, hahaha...

DX Geki Tonfa
Was happy, until I realized the box has been opened (seal-tape was cut at 1 side of box), and also the instructions sheet are not in a bag, but taped directly to the plastic tray inset, and was torn... I tried to console my self that it might have been the seller or agent staff open to check but frankly, I don't think so as the other packages from the same seller are properly sealed (unopened)... Luckily I intended to keep it as display, so I shall perform the ultimate cleaning ceremony with my trusted anti-bacterial wipes... later... hahahaha... The handle is a bit too short to hold and rotate when welding them in tonfa mode... sounds are ridiculous... but still, nice for a display, heehee.... Cost approximately $28.95....

DX Suit-Up Flying Sword Jet Caliber
This is an add-on item for TWD99 when purchasing the DX Geki Changer or DX Geki Tonfa... Because of the big size, it cost approximately $8.05... Cheap!!!!!!! Hahahaha.... But the blade is a little too narrow... This item is from the Tomica Hero: Rescue Fire line...

January Purchase (1) - Assorted Super Sentai / Power Rangers Morphers and Weapons

Received these items from 65Daigou last night... These are bought off Taobao.com, so sometimes can have quite fascinating finds, especially KOs... I mentioned in an earlier post that I am now shifting in to collect Super Sentai / Power Rangers weapons...

First up, the morphers...

Super Mini Go-Phone
Super mini Go-phones which don't look like knockoffs, as there is a 'Toei' sign at the package... Back of the toy has a plastic-battery tab but when pulled off, the toy did not work, so not sure how the light/sound will be, i any... Non of the Go-phone feature (eg. open the top lid, etc) but probably will mod it a bit... Cost approximately $8.85 for both pieces...

KO Accellular (Slide Type)
The bottom part is almost identical to that of the Accellular, but the cover has been modified to slide up upon push of a button... Ugly and hilarious cover, hahahaha.... Has runnign multi-colour lights flashing in the face and some cheesy sounds/songs when button is pressed, or when the button disc is spun... The reason I bought these is to cut up the lower parts to implant on the other KO Accellular I bought... Cost approximately $8.45 for 3 pieces...

KO Plex-Type Accellular
Have to buy them in a set of 8... Colourful morphers!!!! And so powerful that Ultraman Zero uses them!!! Hahahaha.... Looks and move exactly like the Accellular, just without the "sound details"... Yeah, like Plex type... But pressing the switch on the side makes the blue LED lights up at the side...You know what I mean, hahaha... Super strong blue light, was blinded carelessly initially, hahahaha... Maybe I can replace the blue LED with the purple ones that I have...Then can use it to check if I got counterfeit notes or not... Hahahaha.... The plastic felt like the typical shampoo-bottle-plastic... Anyway, will take out the red ones and maybe one more blue one to replace the lower part with that of the above KO Accellular (Slide Type) ones for a more accurate key-pad buttons and spinning disc effect... Might sell off the rest next month in the flea market... See how first... Cost approximately $14.90 for all 8 pieces...

KO Abarangers Morphers Set
Actually I ordered the set with a Aba Laser, but the agent did not check properlyu and accepted this... Luckily I also intended to buy the morphers, so did not return this set... It comes with a modified Dino Brace combined with Dino Commander (the key-hole part, which rotates too...) and the faceplates, but no electronics inside... Nice to have the mould to remain intact, so it will be easier when I put in the switches of the sound circuits... Also included is a spring-less Dino Harp (the harmonica) that needs manually swinging of the key itself... Details are actually good... Cost approximately $8.90...

Next are the weapons...

KO Samurai Saber (Shurikenger) Set
Unfortunately it did not come with the baseball bat-holder... Might try to find some materials to make one someday... if I am not lazy... hahahaha... All details seem to be there, but has been modified to be 1 big piece of plastic... Intend to put in the whole sound recording-playback circuit into the handle, should be fun...Hahaha... Cost approximately $8.90...

Plex Geki Saber
It's a Plex Geki Saber! Super small!!! Hahaha... This is the sound-less version, and I intend to make some new longer blades for the Geki-Saber...At least it will look more proper... Cost approximately $9.75...

KO Sakanamaru
OMG!!! What else can't they KO??!! Plastic is not of the best material, but for a KO, it is good enought... Includes the belt hook too... Not sure what the sound is, have not tried yet, but likely to implant new sound circuits if the current ones turn out too lousy... Very nice...I think is almost identical to the real one... Cost approximately $6.50...

KO Mini Dragon Dagger
Finally found them!!!! The "legendary" mini KOs of the Dragon Dagger... Sweet... Quite small, but has the basic colours of the Dragon Dagger, so just need to touch up some gold colours to say, the buttons and pipe... Pressing the little button at the handle makes a blade swinging/clashing sound while lighting up the crystal ball... Hahahaha... Cost approximately $7.05 for all 3 daggers...
