August Purchase (1) - Haul from 19th Craziest Toys Sale 2015 @ Takashimaya

Went to the 19th Craziest Toys Sale 2015 at Takashimaya Basement 2, and bought a lot of stuff... And everyday, the first 50 customers who spent more than $150 get to redeem a $50 voucher but sadly the voucher can only be used in the Toys Sale itself only... Prices can be seen on the pictures...



Bought 2 pieces of the DX ToQBlaster, 1 for my little nephew and 1 for me... I had wanted to buy 1 selling at a super low price from Taobao.com but the Taobao agent now will not help to purchase toy gun... So was pretty surprise to see this at a low cost, very quickly grabbed 2 pieces, hahahaha....



And the most "craziest" deal is this one: DX Birth Buster selling at only $9 only!!!!!!!!!!!! CRAZILY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahahahaha.... Bought 2 pieces too... Opened up 1 to play with, very very fun even without any light...



Not for my little nephew, this is purely my "desire and greed"... hehehehe... And this is the last minute decision... the DX OOO Driver (English version), the hilarious version, the ridiculous version, the WT* version, the .... Ok, enough... hahahahahahahaha.... Am thinking of adding sound circuit to make a Super Tatoba Henshin sound... and if I can find a cheap 2nd hand (Japanese speaking) O-scanner, I can transfer the circuit.... Looking forward to paint the core medals into Super core medals, hahahaha.... "Falcon! Tiger! Locust!".... hahahahahahaha....



This DX Budou Ryuhou is "free", as it was paid with the $50 voucher redeemed... Sigh, impulse grab, should have gotten some other things... this is a waste of the voucher... Hope my little nephew will like it...



Also bought 2 Pokemon Neo creatures, Lizardon and Genesect, and I think they can move by winding mechanisms.... 2 for $10 only, pretty cheap.... Yeap, for my little nephew too...





Also bought some toys for my little niece... Prices are on the pictures too...




And this is "free" too (paid using the voucher)...

July Purchase (3) - Magi Staff (Power Rangers Mystic Force), DX Dead Heat Set, Capsule Lockseed Showa Rider Legend Set : KR Ichigo

Gotten the items ordered from Taobao.com yesterday night...


Magi Staff (Power Rangers Mystic Force)
The box looks like the Japanese version (DX MagiStick) but the contents is actually the US version (Magi Staff), with the inner tray molded same as the Magi Staff Fury Edition's inner tray... Very much similar to the Drago Sword in "Wing Pentact"-like box which I purchase earlier... Did I post the Drago Sword??? Hmmmm.... may have forgotten... Very expensive, costs about SGD51.85...


Back of the box... very similar to the Japanese version box-back with re-use of some of the pictures...



DX Dead Heat Set
This cost about SGD26.50... for my little nephew...



Capsule Lockseed Showa Rider Legend Set : KR Ichigo
Finally got a relatively cheap and good one to restore my damaged KR Ichigo Lockseed... Since this is the Legend set, the paint of the lockseed is now a nice metallic green, and the lock piece is a single piece instead of the usual capsule toy version of 2 pieces to be assembled... Sound is different too, but I probably will still use the old lockseed's sound PCB... Cost about SGD11.80...(


I got a shock when I first open the cover, as the seller (or whoever, in China) used a permanent marker to circle out a little lump in the top sticker, but luckily, it can be erased off using a soft eraser...



Now waiting for a Dino Bomber / Z-Rex Blaster set to reach shore and a 2nd purchase of the DX K-Touch (because my current one just happily refuse to work one day... upon checking, it is the touching pad that is damaged, beyond my ability to repair... sigh) from eBay...

July Purchase (2) - Paper Assembly Iron Man Helmet

Cost about SGD5.75 SGD5.80 from Taobao.com... Am thinking of tracing the parts onto ABS plastic sheet then make... but then the painting... hmmm....

June Purchase (4) - Captain America Shield (Rubie's Costume) 24"

It finally arrived!!!!! I ordered a Captain America's Shield from amazon.com 10 days ago at a price of SGD43.08. This is produced by Rubie's Costume, and is only a Halloween prop, not those cosplay or proper display prop, so quality is definitely not as good as those. But still good enough for me. Yeap, have since threw away my failed home-made shield... Here's the front of the shield... The edges of the star parts are not well-defined, so look very toy-ish when view from close distance... The painting is also quite bad, with the silver paint going out in many places... Will have to touch up, when free...


Back view of the shield... can't quite figure out how come the straps are placed in such angles... anyway, might also be placing new straps for holding and perhaps even strapping onto the back... will see how it goes..


Since this is only a Halloween prop, the plastic is quite thin, so as to save cost, I supposed... Feels a bit uneasy especially at the shield edge, feels like it will tear... but it won't, having survived from the long shipping to Singapore in 1 oversized box, hahahaha...  The thin material is still not too bad , unlike some cheapo thin thin plastic masks, this thickness is still quite durable... Though it will never be THAT durable like Cattoys' plastic version of the shield (which I saw 1 clip of how a car rolls over the shield and it remains intact, hahahaha)...
