Haul (collected) Today...

All items bought from Taobao... This Candy Toy Taurus Kyutama costs SGD10.65... actually overly expensive, compared to the candy toy gashat which can make many sounds, this Kyutama is virtually just pieces of plastic... anyway...

Candy toy DoReMiFa Beat Gashat for my little nephew... Costs approx. SGD10.45... Will add lights, as usual...

Modification: Add LED to Candy Toy and Gashapon Gashat (Shakariki Sports, Dangerous Zombie)

Added LEDs to the sound gashats recently purchased: Candy Toy Shakariki Sports and Gashapon Dangerous Zombie... Though their parts are quite different, their similarity is that both are quite hard for the lights to shine properly to show the diagram in a similar way to the DX version... This is mainly due to it's transparent piece is 1 molded piece and the diagram side is coloured (not white)... For Candy Toy Shakariki Sports, I used a green LED to shine the background and a white LED for the front diagram... not very good, as the top part is very white, but the bottom ("bicycle wheels" area) is not lit up "white" enough, making the green-coloured wheels blend in together with the green-lit background (see video below)...

Has to cut away this part to allow white LED light to shine through...

The transparent piece for candy toy version has to be trimmed for space to fit in the LEDs (my position)... Also used a piece of black insulation tape to separate the 2 LEDs' light
Edit: While I was re-positioning the LEDs for better lightings, I removed the black insulation tape to allow more fusion of green and white light at the top part (nearer to LEDs)...

For the Gashapon Dangerous Zombie, remember to remove the sticker to reveal the hidden screw when taking apart the gashat...

I used a surface-mount white LED in this gashat... works well...

And also used blu-tack to position the LED better... Oh, also has to cut off some part (of the white part) to allow the LED light to shine through...

Borrowed my nephew's DX Gamer Driver to test out... Yeap, the Gashapon Dangerous Zombie gashat is for him...

Scanning Function Restoration - KO Ginga Spark

Implanted the circuits from a spare DX Victory Lancer recently bought into my KO Ginga Spark... Not really a perfect restoration, as it still did not say the "Ultra Live!!!!", it is still good enough for me... Yes, there simply is no more space for any more sound circuit board.. anyway, am happy... took 3 days to do this... with lots of cursing and sighing... hahahaha...

More March Haul...

More stuff... First up, the Candy Toy version for Shakariki Sports Gashat, bought from Taobao.com... Costs approximately SGD 10.85...

Already fixed up a green LED but effect is still not good, and considering to put in another white LED to shine the coloured side... And first time finish completely the candy that comes with the toy... nice... hahahaha...

These 2 DX AkaNinger Shurikens were bought at the Takashimaya Collectible Toys Fair on Sunday... Cost SGD10 each... 1 for me and 1 for my little nephew...

And finally found the Ultraman Ginga Strium Spark Doll... After numerous failed attempts at Kiddy Palace, OGs, I finally found one at Takashimaya... initially did not see this piece as it is hidden in the innermost corner of the bunch of hanging spark dolls... I made a few trips back to the section, hoping to find one and was about to give up, then decided to go back 1 last time to search, and ... IT'S THERE !!!!! Very happy... Costs SGD 9.95...

Takashimaya Collectible Toys Fair 2017... and Haul...

Takashimaya Collectible Toys Fair is back... as usual, let the pictures do the talking...

And my haul (2 days)... surprisingly bought a lot, as I had none last year... Prices are on the tag... DX Sherpherdon / Shepardon Saber...

DX XDevizer for my little nephew... This is the "upgraded" version which includes some strips of Live Signs to scan... Oh, this is gotten from the 4th story in Toys Section, the version which is selling in the Fair is the normal Japanese version and costs SGD40...

Day 2 (today) haul...

Ultraman X and Ultraman Victory spark dolls... And they are also bought on the 4th floor Toys Section... Can't find Ultraman Ginga's...

Gotten 2 DX Victory Lancers... the extra one I intend to put the circuit into my KO Ginga Spark...

The DX NinninBlue shuriken (don't know what is the proper name, don't care...) ... for myself, since my little nephew has no likes for the Ninninger...

And DX Strium Brace, just for fun, hahahaha.... the golden wheel seem to be too loose and every slight movement will trigger the internal switch to activate...

... anyway, the Live Sign is placed too deep in for the DX Victory Lance to scan, so I use foamed-double-sided-tape to stick the Live Sign, making it sit higher for the DX Victory Lancer to be able to reach and scan...

Also bought some Hello Kitty stuff for my little niece... very cute...

Sound Restoration - KO Perfect Zecter ( Kamen Rider Kabuto )

Did not take pictures of the restoration process, but basically it is just stuffing in sound-recording circuits with lots of switches soldered in configurations to get the desired effects.  A short clip below shows the details of the KO Perfect Zecter ( Kamen Rider Kabuto series ) that I bought many years ago, and after the restoration of the various key sounds found in an DX version counterpart, namely the normal shooting, slashing, combining all Zecters, and the 2 super attack sounds for sword mode and gun mode when all Zecters are attached. Thanks for watching!!!
