DX Ninja Ichibantou - Blade and Handle Extension Modifications ( Shuriken Sentai Ninninger )
The DX Ninja Ichibantou has a pretty big shuriken attachement holder part but the blade is rather short. Hence I extended the blade with a toy sword blade. First open up the toy...
Made the inner core blade with ABS sheet and outer blade with a spare toy blade...
Painteds the outer blade with PVA glue and then sprayed with silver-chrome paint...
Assemblying of the blade...
And tested the functionality of the toy... Worked...
However, I accidentally made it too long proportion to the handle and thus have to extend the handle. And finally I stupidly extended the handle slightly too long as well.. sigh... nevermind, life goes on...
Hot-glue is used to attach the handle extension, and super glue the final cover onto the extension...
Final look fo the modified Ninja Ichibantou... Not a good mod as the PVA paint gives a rough texturewhen sprayed over, and the hot glue used to attach the outer blade to the inner core deforms the plastic... and the handle is too plain...
Decide to add only flame sticker to the handle extension, so printed out and used the Daiso soft laminate (the sticky side) to make a flame sticker... Somehow I cannot get the proper color nor tone... nevermind, tried my best already...

Alternate Replacement - "DX" Kimewaza Slot Holder ( Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Series )
As I had bought my DX Gamer Driver loose, it naturally did not come with a DX Kimewaza Slot Holder. This means half of the playability of the gashats are lost unless I press the activation buttons manually which is troublesome... Hence I removed the gashat slot holder from the DX Gashacon Sparrow and modify it to be a "DX" Kimewaza Slot Holder. It worked quite well, considering now I can activate the 'Critical Strike', and also the 'Critical Finish', and do both kimewaza attacks together!... The belt clip is taken from a spare DX Decadriver's driver holder.
First the gashat retainer part is trimmed to allow gashat to be removed without pressing release button...
Making the Kimewaza Press button...
Activating the gashat button...
Finsihed Kimewaza Slot Holder...
Clipped on the belt strap...

Complete DX Modification ( CDM ) - Dark Visor Zwei : Battery Frame and Card Placer Improvements
Made a 2 x AA battery frame to squeeze in the batteries instead of button cell type which are drained of electricity extremely fast. Volume is still a bit soft probably due to another speaker used.
Also made a magnetic retainer part to hold the card placer down to allow the card to press onto the sensing switches. No specifications on the sizes and such of the parts made as I did trial-and-error.
The tough part is aligning the circuit board accurately enough to be able to slot in card and to press the sensing switches down enough.

Complete DX Modification ( CDM ) - Dark Visor Zwei : Card Reading Function II
I transplanted DX Dragvisor Zwei's circuit board to the previously modified DX Dark Visor Zwei. Though the new circuit board is smaller, it still has no space for large capacity batteries (i.e. non button cells type). To make it worse, this circuit consumes current heavily and button cells especially the flat LR1130 cannot last long at all, despite supplying it now with a 4.5V supply instead of its original 3V... The sound volume is also super soft due to the button batteries type used... Anyway, am satisfied already... Too many other things on hand to worry about...

Also bought this for my little niece for her Christmas present at TRU Suntec, costs about SGD35, I think...

2018 September Haul (1) - DX Ziku Driver with Ridewatch Holder Set
Went over to Fujiya to buy the DX Ziku Driver for my little nephew today... Did not drive but took the MRT instead... long journey... initially wanted to buy the standard DX set ($90) with a DX Geiz Ridweatch ($25), but after the patient shop-owner's explanation, I bought the special set ($135) instead, since it is like the Ridewatch Holder costs only $20 if buy the special set. But the down side is that I will have to get another DX Ridewatch Holder set if I want to get the DX Ghost Ridewatch... nevermind, perhaps can get the gashapon or shokugan version...
Very nice driver!!!!

Power Rangers Super Megaforce Deluxe Legendary Morpher - Sound Volume Modification
As mood is no good and sad, I decided to modified my Power Rangers Super Megaforce Deluxe Legendary Morpher to let the sound in phone mode (i.e. without a Ranger Key inserted in) to be the same loudness as when a Ranger Key inserted in... Also demonstrated some of my modified-restored Red Rangers Keys in the video...
Modify at your own risk!!!!!
After the covers are removed, you will see the pair of wires from the pirate head side going into the main body side, and this pair of wires has a white connector joint to the circuit. Pull out the connector to reveal the 2 pins, which are connected to the push switch to indicate when a key has been inserted. When key is inserted, the switch at the pirate head side is pressed and this is equivalent to the 2 pins shorting (touching) each other, and this will signal to the circuit to allow full sound volume for everything...
There are many ways to do the next step. I choose to just bend the 2 pins to touch each other securely, so that in case next time I want to revert back it is still possible... ok, actually I am lazy.... Some people may use a joint connector to connect the 2 pins, and some may even try to solder them together... I also tucked in the connector of the pair of wires under the circuit board and used a ball of blu-tack to secure in place... yes, lazy, but also in case next time still wants to restore back the soft volume.. hahahha... sigh...

Homemade: LED Lighting Platform for Kyutama ( Kyurangers )
Made a lighting platform that will house and shine light a Kyutama, for my friend's birthday... Initially wanted to modify the Kyutama to have the light shine internally, but I did not have a battery holder of that suitable size. Also, the internal space is quite limited too. This should work just as fine... hahahaha... The front image does not look nice when light shines behind as the 2 layers looks like 2 different colour tones, but the glow at the globe looks ok...
The back image (heart) looks quite ok and clear with the light though...
I painted the LED sides to black and taped the LED body with a black insulation tape to minimise the overly bright glow to the eyes when looking from the front / side...
A pair of magnets (dia-6mm x 3mm thick) are hot-glued to the cork mat (platform) and Kyutama's bottom. This not only provides a strong but temporary joint, it also allows the Kyutama to be swivel to allow the both sides of the Kyutama to be illuminated by the light...
Light circuit... a small latching push-switch, white LED, 3V LR44 holder are used in this circuit...Hope she likes it! =)
