All items bought from Taobao... This Candy Toy Taurus Kyutama costs SGD10.65... actually overly expensive, compared to the candy toy gashat which can make many sounds, this Kyutama is virtually just pieces of plastic... anyway...
Candy toy DoReMiFa Beat Gashat for my little nephew... Costs approx. SGD10.45... Will add lights, as usual...

Modification: Add LED to Candy Toy and Gashapon Gashat (Shakariki Sports, Dangerous Zombie)
Added LEDs to the sound gashats recently purchased: Candy Toy Shakariki Sports and Gashapon Dangerous Zombie... Though their parts are quite different, their similarity is that both are quite hard for the lights to shine properly to show the diagram in a similar way to the DX version... This is mainly due to it's transparent piece is 1 molded piece and the diagram side is coloured (not white)... For Candy Toy Shakariki Sports, I used a green LED to shine the background and a white LED for the front diagram... not very good, as the top part is very white, but the bottom ("bicycle wheels" area) is not lit up "white" enough, making the green-coloured wheels blend in together with the green-lit background (see video below)...
Has to cut away this part to allow white LED light to shine through...
The transparent piece for candy toy version has to be trimmed for space to fit in the LEDs (my position)...Also used a piece of black insulation tape to separate the 2 LEDs' light
Edit: While I was re-positioning the LEDs for better lightings, I removed the black insulation tape to allow more fusion of green and white light at the top part (nearer to LEDs)...
For the Gashapon Dangerous Zombie, remember to remove the sticker to reveal the hidden screw when taking apart the gashat...
I used a surface-mount white LED in this gashat... works well...
And also used blu-tack to position the LED better... Oh, also has to cut off some part (of the white part) to allow the LED light to shine through...
Borrowed my nephew's DX Gamer Driver to test out... Yeap, the Gashapon Dangerous Zombie gashat is for him...
