June Purchase (3) - DX Kiwami Lock Seed
Only received this item less than an hour ago... The DX Kiyumi...opps, wrong .. DX Kawaii... arrgh... wrong again... DX Kiwami (yes!!!) Lock Seed is finally here... And again just to clarify, this will be my little nephew's, not mine, hahahaha... Cost $51.25 approximately, from eBay...
The back of the package showing a LOT of information... a bit too over-powering... hahahaha....

Restoration - KO Dino Brace (Abaranger)
After a long long break, I finally completed the KO Dino Brace that was purchased in January... The KO Dino Brace have no spring-loaded mechanisms - all require manual actions. Luckily the mold still retains the cavities and parts that are needed to make the jaw snapping action, so managed to restore the action back with a couple of springs...
2 sound circuits are recorded with the dino-roar and henshin sound before implanted into the body... Tough tough tough work... and realised my reliable soldering iron's tip has finally reached its end days... sigh... time for a replacement...
The dino-roar sound is activated by a soft switch as seen in the picture below. I couldn't fixed it on the lower half of the body where the main sound circuits are, so have to use a longer pair of wires to pull the switch and place it there...
The henshin sounds are activated by switch circled in yellow. There is another switch connected in parallel to the first one (at right of picture; connected at the other ends of the the 2 blue wires) that will also activate the henshin sound when the key-barrel is rotated. Sorry, forgotten to circle the 2nd switch...
Also added a power on-off switch for power-saving...
Here's a quick(???) look at the KO Dino Brace when bought... Looks good actually...except the wrong colours...
...and the repainted version... the yellow velcro strap is from a DX (Za)Bee Zector which had its circuit implanted into a fake KO Gatack Zector long time ago...
I did not restore the spring-out action for the Dino-Harp as I am too lazy, frankly... hahahaha... Most of the paint apps are retained too (instead of repainting to the original Dino Harp colour), as this looks more in-line with the Dino Brace colour scheme...
The main Dino Brace is a crazy weird one... It fuses together with the Dino Commander (key-part)!!! So it is a new morpher??!! The "Dino Brace-Commander"????!!!! Hahahahaha.... I totally love it, man, this is why KOs are great, hahahaha.... I tried putting a red LED with a green one to match the DX's colour for eyes' light but the green LED will be very dim, hence have to use both green LEDs... I think AbareBlue and AbareYellow won't mind...will they???
Here are pictures of the "Dino Brace-Commander" with the different dino-plates on it, as well as the lit up eyes (did not do any mods to the AbareBlack and AbareKiller's faceplates, too lazy)... All dino-plates have the pegs at same position, no difference which dino-plate is put on...
And here's the outcome:

Restoration (Body and Sounds) - KO PLEX Accellular (Boukenger)
Restored the KO PLEX Accellular some time ago but had forgotten to pictured down until last night...
This is the smaller sized Accellular, which I believe is KO-ed from the PLEX mold.
I used 2 types of KOs for the body of this Accellular to make it more like a DX... Did some repainting and also sprayed a layer of clear lacquer to protect the paint... The screen is printed from some DX picture found over the internet...
Pressing the trigger at the side will make a purplish-blue LED light up. Despite using only 3V for the source, the LED still lights up too brightly, hence I have to use masking tape to cover the glaring light...
As for the henshin sound, I added a power on-off switch to ensure the battery life will not be drained off by accidental rotation of the wheel...
And here is the final outcome... Not too good, but will do nicely for my little nephew...

June Purchase (1) - Gashapon Lock Seed Vol. 10 - Lemon Energy Lock Seed and Blood Orange Lock Seed
Purchased the Gashapon Lock Seed Vol. 10 - Lemon Energy Lock Seed and Blood Orange Lock Seed at CSC this past Sunday... Costly buy at $25 for 2 pieces... But my little nephew should like...
Surprisingly, the sticker for the Blood Orange LS is thinner than the other Gashapon LSs that I have bought, and LED light (when mod-installed) comes out much more... Yeap, I have finished modding the Blood Orange LS with light and Open-LockSeed-Got-Sound function (took a long time because of spring sprung missing, position of extra switch not placed properly, locking piece too tight, etc), but sadly the screws for the Lock Seed cover are so badly damaged that I can't remove them to paste silver reflective tape in the concave cavity... Anyway, it works pretty well... Will wait for a good time to take a video/picture of all the Lock Seeds I have modded... After I have done with the Lemon Energy LS and when I have time... super busy these few weeks...
Also bought a Hello Kitty soft toy for my little niece... At $12, this toy can light up the head ribbons by pressing on its palm...fun... hahahaha.... And a Hello Kitty bubble set at $2.30 (after 205 discount)... These 2 items are purchased at OG...

Update: Restoration (Sounds) - KO Survi-Buster => New Sound and Light
In my previous post on Restoration (Sounds) - KO Survi-Buster,
I keep feeling that the "dinosaurish" gun-firing sound does not suit the KO Survi-Buster. Hence, I decide to use 1 of the January-bought Crystal Gunbers (a gun-change-sword weapon from a Chinese anime 《星系保卫战》, a.k.a. 《晶能战记》 (translated as "Crystal Warrior") to use as the sword-gun sounds and light.
Below shows a Crystal Gunber (from my first buy)...
Since the circuit transplant is almost similar to the previous (and boring), I decide to skip the documentation of the process and here is the end result:
