May Purchase (6) - DX Wizardriver, DX Axcalibur (2nd Buy)

Haul from Taobao is here... and I am not excited... because I seen cheaper ones selling locally, just last Sunday... sigh... but nevermind lah, is for my little nephew...

DX Wizardriver
Will not put up price here because .... sigh, don't want to see this... The QC is bad, as the "hand" has abrasion marks... no protective film over it too... hope it is not because item has been played before... Sigh... For those who wants, 1 shop in CSC 2nd storey was selling this at less than $90... Not sure if it has been sold off already...

DX Axcalibur (2nd Buy)
For my little nephew.... But since the packaging was resealed, I will take no chance... Have since swap the contents of my 1st buy (of DX Axcalibur) with this, leaving the good box for me as I may need to keep the boxes... Not decided yet...

Sigh, forget to pass the returned items back to the delivery staff... sigh... maybe Friday move over to pass at the collection point...

May Purchase (5) - LRS Blay Buckle, DX Movie War Ultimatum Rings Set, Gashapon "Big" Ring, DX Flame Dragon Ring Set, DX White Wizard Driver

My recent purchases these 2 days...

Legend Rider Series - Blay Buckle
2nd time buying this piece, at Robinsons Expo Sales, for $30... Wanted to give to my little nephew, as not sure if he will want to have the henshin belt to henshin into KR Blade or KR Garren (which he already has one LRS Garren belt I modded earlier)...

DX Movie War Ultimatum Rings Set
Today went to CSC with the intent to get some gashapon Wizard Rings, as one of the shop owner informed me last week that there will be a batch of old gashapon Wizard Rings to arrive in his shops this week. However, today he says that the batch did not come due to the storm case in Hong Kong... So went to other shops to look-see look-see... And managed to get some good Wizard Rings... Bought this set for $20... The "Time" Ring is interesting, as it makes (the DX White Wizard Driver produce) a clock ticking sound... "Fourze" ring is actually an "Engage" ring... "Special Rush" Ring will make the driver belt say out the 4 elements....

Gashapon "Big" Ring
This is also bought in the same shop as above item... Shop owner is kind to sell me this piece at $5, thanks! And when I test out my DX White Wizard Driver, this ring makes it say "Giant!", hahahaha....

DX Flame Dragon Ring Set
Then I walked over to a stall at one of the corner in 2nd floor, and bought the following 2 items. Very lucky to find this DX Flame Dragon Ring Set, which I had wanted to get as part of my little nephew's birthday present, selling at $15. So tempted to get the other sets of Element Dragon Ring sets, since all selling at $15 only... Maybe next time...

DX White Wizard Driver
And from the same stall, my biggest (and most expensive) buy - DX White Wizard Driver !!!!!! I cannot resist the temptation to buy this, despite having a feeling that Fujiya may be likely to sell this at a lower price... succumbed to the temptation in less than 2 seconds, after bargaining to buy it at $100... Expensive, but shiok... hahahahaha....

Back of the box... Sadly it comes with only 2 rings... But have earlier gotten myself a "Kick Strike" Ring and "Special" Ring... The "Special" Ring can also make the DX White Wizard Driver say out the full sound effects, if scanned with the "Infinity/Almighty" Ring prior to that...

Top of the box has a unique picture showing KR White Wizard from the flap to top side of the box...

Un-boxing of the DX White Wizard Driver...

... All seems fine, except the activating parts that are used to flip-change the "hand" are quite loose, especially on 1 side, not sure if it is normal or not... Will have to wait till the DX Wizard Driver arrives then can compare and see...

May Purchase (3a), (4) - Gashapon Goseiger Real Change Set, Gashapon Wizard Rings

Bought this set earlier from Taobao.com from a local agent, but did not post as there are missing items in the other set I bought, and only recently then settled on the refund matters, hence the delay... One set will cost about $10.15... Frankly speaking, this is also incomplete, as the original set will have (I think) the mini cards, belt straps, etc, which the seller is not putting up in the item's webpage. No sounds nor no lights, just the buckle able to slide out to reveal some space to hold the mini cards; the morpher can slide the mouth down to reveal a space to put in a mini card. (actually, it is the face-part slides up the back piece which connects to the mouth.. you know what I mean... ) Have since gotten a belt strap to put up these items for my little nephew to wear, hope he enjoys them...

Bought these 3 gashapon Wizard Rings today...at a total of $20 (given a $2 discount from the original $22)... not sure if they are workable, as I have no DX Wizard Driver... Kick-Strike Ring looks like the bird being squashed by the foot, and Special Ring looks the dragon vomiting ... Hahaha...

May Purchase (4 with 3 akan datang) - DX Axcalibur, Super Drill S-3 Switch, Super Sentai & Time Ring Set

Bought these at Fujiya today... It is a shop in Sim Lim Square, and the seller is very nice. I saw these items on their eBay page, and bought them without much hesitation...

DX Axcaibur, the super weapon of Kamen Rider Wizard in his Infinity Form... Bought it at $78... Not sure if it is the lowest in Singapore, but it is definitely lower than that in Taobao... Sigh, cos I had bought one from Taobao, on its way, at about $109... SIGH... Anyway, that Axcalibur I will give to ... KR White Wizard... Hahaha... Yes, think I will go and hunt for 1, when it is brought in, and hopefully for less than $90...

Strange that the ring does not glow when brought near to the sensing area to activate the Axe mode... Anyway, it is quite a heavy and big toy...

Super Drill S-3 Astro Switch... the "DX" version... Cost $10 only, as it is on a special offer price... Sounds are quite fun, especially when you turn the top part of the dril switch 5 times or more, and when inserts into the DX Fourze Driver, it makes a "Su-Su-Su-Super!" sound...

This DX Wizard Ring Super Hero Taisen Z Set is bought on the spot, impulse buy, but no regrets, think the design is quite nice too... Cost $15... Not sure if it works, as the DX Wizard Driver I got for my nephew as his birthday gift is not here yet...

Actually had bought some gashapon KR Kiva Wrist Armour, Mini Belts, etc, and also gashapon Goseiger Real Change Kit,but due to some missing items and return process, will post them once settle down...

Gashapon Cosmic Switch Mod

Made a sound part for my little nephew's gashapon Cosmic Switch... Have not completed yet, still have the final finishing to do... Used 2 sound recording circuits to make the 2 sounds.

Done!... Well, almost... The size still looks ok, not too big, as I earlier had wanted to use 2 boxes to make the body of the sound part...

At 0:26 - my finger is actually pointing to the small (white) switch that is used to activate the henshin sounds.

Gashapon Gaia Memory Mod (II)...

Finished fixing my gashapon Gaia Memories that have a super hard to press button that I cannot use in my DX Lost Driver... And added LEDs to some of them, for fun... Last time I tried with the LED connect directly to the 2 terminals of the speaker, and it did work quite well for LEDs that need low voltage (eg. red, yellow, and maybe green, which is a bit of not so bright...) but not for LEDs of blue, purple, etc. So I tried another way of fixing (see the last picture of this post), and it work pretty well, though I am still not really satisfied with the purple. When making short presses for the different sounds, the LED tends to light up a little longer if connected this way, though the henshin sounds (long press of button) makes no difference...

The Xtreme memory uses a running-light-multicolour LED that has 3 colours (blue, red, green. The green cannot be seen so easily though) inside it...

Nearly forgotten about the Double memory...

This is the connection for low voltage LEDs (eg. yellow, red, maybe green)...

This is the connection for higher voltage LEDs (eg. purple, blue, and once again maybe green)... And if you look at the top left side of the circuit board, you can see 3 sets of copper pads, which are switches to activate the 2 ~ 3 different sounds recorded on the circuit board.  I tried with the Kuuga memory, and gave my little nephew a Kiva memory! So fun...

May Purchase (1), (2) - DX Decade Driver, DX K-Touch, DX Drag Visor, DX Dark Visor Zwei, (Boxed) KO Zero Ultra Eye

Went to the Branded Toys Warehouse Sale at Eunos Warehouse Complex yesterday, and my guess was right, it was pretty empty... It was so so so so so so so packed on Wednesday, and a super super super long long queue is needed just to enter the warehouse... Pity the kids who were there, enduring the stuffiness... Anyway, not much good stuff for me, in the end only bought a DX Decade Driver for $25, a DX K-Touch for $18, and a "Fengshui Nodder" that runs on solar power for $5...

This DX Decade Driver is the Asia version, with English words on the box packaging and Japanese words on the 10 cards... I probably will transplant the card reader circuit board into a DX Diend Driver, if I can persuade myself to get one, that is... anyway, still haven't decide yet... The white buckle seems a bit loose when attached to the grey holder, as compared to the Korean version... but still secure enough...

The DX K-Touch is also the Asia version, with the wasteful packaging box... But good thing is it comes with 2 extra Attack Ride cards (see 3rd picture below), considered a bonus... However, the QC is no good, as there are a lot of scratch swivel marks at the left side of the K-Touch... I suspect either the packing staff did a sloppish and careless job and scratches the K-Touch while packing, or maybe the assembly staff is bored and keep it for some time to play before throwing back to the packing line... Anyway, does not really matter... If I really do transplant the DX Decade Driver's card-reading circuit into a DX Diend Driver, I probably will paint this to blue and replace the red LEDs with blue ones...

And this evening I collected the purchase from Taobao.com... First up, the Bandai-China version of DX Drag Visor... Yeap, Bandai-China, not Bandai-Asia... It has a line of the KR Ryuki stuff, though some simplified (eg. KR Ouija's Visor is missing 1 sound after closing with card inserted, I believed...) Bought 2 of this DX Drag Visor - one for my little nephew, the other for me to transplant the card reading circuit into the DX Dark Visor Zwei... Hopefully can work... Each DX Drag Visor cost approximately $28.40...

Even though this is the Bandai-China version, it is still able to read the cards well and pronounce the English words with a Japanese accent... nice... I still find this version better than the KR Dragon Knight version... at least I don't have to press the Dragon's nose to make sounds... Be careful though, there is a simplified version of Drag Visor that makes only 1 sound. The packaging box does not have the word DX, and I think the silver painted parts are changed to silver-chromed... This DX version comes with 5 KR Ryuki Advent cards...

I initially wanted to get a DX Dark Visor, but Taobao has ran out of this, so in the end have to get the Zwei version... or "suay" version... Yes, quite "suay" (unlucky) to get one that appears to be tempered with before, despite the seller advertises as brand new... sigh... anyway, have cleaned the parts with anti-bacterial wipes, and is storing them now in a new zip-lock bag... DX Dark Visor Zwei uses 2 AA batteries, and has no card-reading capability, even though it is the Zwei version... It has lots of sounds though, including sounds when opening (or closing???) the card-cover... The 2 words it will say are "Survive" and "Advent" (or if you prefer, "a-to-ven-to")... This cost about $49.15...

Also bought another KO Zero Ultra Eye, this time the colour-accurate version... But the plastic feels slightly lousier than the wrong-colour version... The sounds is still the cheesy funny version... This costs about $5.95...

Oh, here's the "Fengshui Nodder" I was talking about at the start of this post... On the packaging, the words are in Japanese, only manage to figure out 2 Kanji that spells as fengshui in chinese... and it shakes its head sideways when there is enough light shining on the solar panel in front... very cute... Cost $5... Comes with a small, cute little figurine-key-chain...
