October Purchase (5) - 2017 Movie Power Morpher and Red Power Sword

A surprise purchase today at Robinsons Expo Sale, which I was actually hunting for other Tokusatsu deals instead of these 2... Anyway, they come in super torn and tattered packaging, and the Power Morpher had a small peg broken discovered while I was playing with it at home... managed to open it up and repaired with a spare plastic rod, but still ... and also the yellow coin has a speck of black stuff on the inside of the coin, and I can't pry it out, making the coin unpleasant to look at when light shines through... anyway, will overlook it with the low price... hahahaha... Oh, the morpher, as well as the sword, costs SGD 25 each, way below the initial retail price of SGD 89.99 ....


Power sword seem to quite a good size, the handle part is a bit "squeezy" but manage to fit my hand... anyway, will be hanging it up for display, so not really matter... The blue light looks good, but would have prefer the whole blade glows... yeah, I also know it is a bit too much to ask for, for a kid's toy...



The Power Morpher makes 2 simple standby sounds and 2 morphing sounds. The Power sword has a few 'normal' cutting/slashing sounds in Battle mode and a simple slash-when-he-says-so game in Training mode, and NO special attack sound... So are they worth the initial retail price of SGD 89.99 each? Personally I don't think so... But at SGD 25 each, still quite okay to grab 1, at least for display... hahahaha...
